Lisa Provance has been a nurse for over 33 years, beginning her career as a diploma graduate from Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing in Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree from George Mason University and her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Marymount University. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner in multiple settings and is a skilled hospitalist as well as primary care provider. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the ANCC, a certified ACLS, PALS, and BLS instructor and FMSCA medical examiner.
Lisa believes in treating her patient holistically and uses an integrative approach to helping her patients achieve success in their health management. A strong advocate for preventative health care, nutritional counseling and overall mind and body health, she partners with her patients in their journey toward wellness. Lisa is an identical twin and mother of two college-age children. She enjoys volunteering for medical missionary trips, serving on the Board of Directors for a nonprofit child nutritional organization and is active in her church. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, dancing and reading.
