
Rene Ernest is a board-certified Adult Gerontologic Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She completed her undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Bronx, New York. This after over 20 years as a Registered Nurse within the specialties of critical care and emergency services in the New York City area. Rene’s advanced practice experience over the last 15 years in various specialties brings a wealth of experience to our practice.
In what she calls her “second act,” Rene completed a post-graduate program in Psychiatric Mental Health as a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Virginia. She enjoys treating clients throughout their lifespan.
Her clinical interests include (but not limited to) ADHD, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma and moral distress in healthcare workers.
Rene is an avid Buffalo Bills football fan who enjoys dancing to music from all genres. In her spare time, she practices yoga, gardening, DIY home improvement projects, traveling and cooking with her daughter, her greatest achievement.
